Experience Counts!

The Management of health and safety at work regulations 1999 says that training has to be relevant, fit for purpose and to a recognised level.

How often have you attended a course and thought that what was being taught wouldn't work in your job or maybe that the trainer obviously has no practical experience of the subject matter they are teaching?

At GSG Training we feel that tutor experience is important. All our tutors have extensive experience of working in the real world. We expect them to remain "operational" with all their licences (SIA, Personal Alcohol Licence, First Aid etc) and carry them with them for inspection on request.

All courses our course trainers are fully insure and qualified, experienced in their sectors and have undergone a CRB disclosure check.

Examples of our trainers hands on / front line experience includes:

  • Care of the elderly - Working directly for NHS in care provider roles
  • Child Welfare - Provision of child protection in sporting events and clubs
  • Event Management - Sporting events, conferences, concerts, fashion shows etc
